To continue with this my other question, here's the problem. So, I've a slide, which I'm trying to understand.
Here are my questions.
What are the barycentric coordinates of? From my previous question, $(x_1, y_1)$ and $(x_2, y_2)$ are also screen coordinates. So, we're interpolating between screen coordinates. Why would we do that?
Why is $\lambda = \frac{x - x_1}{x_2 - x_1}$?
Are $p_1$ and $p_2$ points given in global coordinates? That is, are they $3D$ points or screen points?
Why is $\mu$ defined as it is?
Why do we want to know $p^z$? By the way, what is it? A vector, right?
