However, the overall performance of a MIS-based estimator depends on the quality of its partial sampling strategies. What I am trying to do here is to improve one of the the sub-strategies to improve the overall performance of the estimator. In my experience, it is usually more efficient to use less high-quality samples than may be more expensive to generate than more easily-generated low-quality ones. | |
